The Quincy West Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging is inviting the community to join together for a little walk in support of a larger cause. All members of the community are encouraged to participate in a walk in support of those impacted by Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association. On Friday, August 15, at 2:00 p.m., the mini walk will start at the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center, located at 639 York. Only the parking lot will be traversed by participants. Wheelchairs, strollers, and walkers are all welcome. Please refrain from bringing any pets.
The public is welcome and this is free.
