Two Macomb men face murder charges

MACOMB, Illinois. After a Macomb man died on Sunday, two guys are currently being held at the McDonough County Jail.

The Macomb Police Department was notified of an alleged killing that had taken place in the 600 block of North Randolph on Sunday at around 5:00 p.m. A deceased adult male was found and identified as 21-year-old Macomb resident Bryson Saddoris during an inquiry and subsequent search of the home.

Two suspects were identified throughout the investigation: Morgan Bearce, 24, of Macomb, and Sean Hayes, 37, of Macomb. The Macomb Police Department found and arrested both people.

Bearce and Hayes were officially charged with First Degree Murder and Obstructing Justice by the McDonough County States Attorney’s Office on Tuesday. Following their arrest, both males are being held at the McDonough County Jail.
