Quincy The Kroc Center, in collaboration with NutritionHQ Quincy, is preparing for the yearly Bubble Fun 5K Run. The fun run is scheduled for Saturday, September 13 at 7:30 a.m.
This is a family-friendly track where you may run or walk through bubbles and fluffy foam. The Kroc Center, located at 405 Vermont, is where the race will begin and end. The Kroc Center’s youth fitness and recreation programs are supported by all sales.
In a news release, race planner Kate Shuker said, “We are excited to unite the community for the Bubble Fun 5K Run.” This event is a great way to be active and spend a fun-filled morning with loved ones.
The early bird registration period is currently open and will run through August 22. Early registration will result in a $25 entry fee reduction and a race t-shirt guarantee. Up to race day, regular registration will be available for $35.
Interested parties can sign up online right now at krocquincy.org/bubble-fun-5k-run. Online registration will be open until 6:45 a.m. on September 13. The Kroc Center will be open for packet pickup on Friday, September 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, September 13, from 6:30 to 7 a.m.
