The John Tripp award recipient was also revealed. The recipient of this distinguished service award is a longtime, active member. The award approval procedure takes into account a variety of factors, including meeting attendance records, fundraising efforts, road trips, committee chairing, and board membership.

The John Tripp Award recipient, John Johannes, was declared. Johannes has been a part of the group for more than 20 years, served as the first club president of QSC, chaired Little People’s sponsorship for two years, and spent more than ten years assisting with the Gus Macker basketball tournament alongside Dave Poland and Kevin O’Donnell.

The Quincy Service Club is a group that promotes charity, community, and harmony. Quincy is a terrific place to form families, connections, and a culture of caring and community action because of the membership’s efforts to create volunteer opportunities and activities that benefit locals.

The Quincy Service Club Foundation is a recently established organization that is led by a strong tradition of more than a century of service and dedication. Americanism, community service, youth activities, scholarships, and the prevention of child abuse are all central to the foundation’s aim.

We are positioned at the intersection of integrity and diversity, carrying out a range of initiatives that honor our community and demonstrate our dedication. We take pride in embracing both grandeur and simplicity, from the happy staging of the Little People’s Golf Championships to the spectacular Field of Honor event that raises 1,000 U.S. flags every year.

At the Quincy Service Club Foundation, we pay tribute to our first responders, recognize our unsung heroes, and put forth endless effort to improve the lives of people who are marginalized in society. We give scholarships to both the most ambitious and those who have bravely surmounted mental or physical obstacles to graduate because we think everyone should have an equal opportunity at achievement.

Dennis Koch and his family received the QSC Lifetime Member Award.
