Missouri’s Columbia. The Pearls of Production program at the University of Missouri Extension has revealed its forthcoming activities, which are intended to empower and encourage women in the cattle business.
The 2025 schedule includes an in-person hands-on conference in Columbia on November 8th, as well as a virtual webinar series called Pixels of Production.
Through Pearls of Production, women can acquire useful production skills, science-based knowledge, and important relationships in the agricultural sector.
Chick-Chat, a 20-minute networking opportunity where participants may meet with other women in agriculture, kicks off each of the four weeknight webinars in the Pixels of Production series at 6:40 p.m. After registering, the Zoom link is shared, and the main session starts at 7 p.m.

23 September Are There Digestive Problems in Your Herd? SRP vaccination technology and methods to improve gut health and lower disease are highlighted by Dr. Andrea Pitkin.
October 28 Heroes to Hives: Assisting Women Producers and Veterans in Starting Beekeeping According to Joni Harper, beekeeping can diversify farm income and promote wellness.

Come along with us in On Friday, Nov. 8, a full-day interactive conference will take place in Columbia.
Topics like vaccine manufacturing, calving season survival strategies, small ruminant newborn care, the Heroes to Hives veteran beekeeping program, genetically improving cows, and farm emergency response will all be covered in breakout sessions.
To learn more about farm funding and assistance programs, attendees will have the opportunity to meet representatives from the NRCS, FSA, and Soil and Water Conservation District during a Lunch and Learn session.
