From noon to 4:30 p.m., CARTHAGE, Ill. Memorial Hospital will organize a community blood drive in collaboration with ImpactLife, which supplies blood components to nearby hospitals. Friday, September 5. The hospital’s Health and Wellness conference rooms, situated at 1454 N Co Rd. 2050, will host the blood drive.

Potential donors must weigh more than 110 pounds and be at least 17 years old (16 with a parental consent form accessible through www.bloodcenter.org). To give, a picture ID is needed.

Donating blood is a quick, easy, and safe process that takes 45 to 60 minutes. It may be possible to accept people with diabetes or managed hypertension as eligible donors.
