A town hall-style public meeting for Mark Twain State Park, Mark Twain Birthplace State Historic Site, and Union Covered Bridge State Historic Site will take place just following the ribbon-cutting event. Public comments and inquiries regarding the facilities and their functions are welcome, and representatives from DNR’s Division of State Parks will be available to answer questions and give information about these facilities. Additionally, the new trailhead close to the 107 Boat Ramp fish-cleaning facility will host the meeting.
