Sanchez is commemorating her son’s significant achievement, which has become a moment of mixed emotions for her. Evan Whitesell, her younger son, was dropped off to college by her. Sanchez shared a picture of her 18-year-old son on Monday, putting together some furniture in his University of Miami dorm room.
Sanchez penned, Evan was dropped off at college today. Eighteen years of family dinners, late-night snacks, and early mornings. He was then constructing his own dorm cabinet. It was a minor thing, but I glimpsed the beginning of his next chapter at that precise moment.

With her ex-husband, Patrick Whitesell, Sanchez has a son named Evan. They also have a 17-year-old daughter named Ella. The former journalist had her first child out of wedlock with Tony Gonzalez, an NFL player and her ex-boyfriend. Their 24-year-old son, Nikko Gonzalez, just made his runway debut for Dolce & Gabbana.
Sanchez revealed Evan’s acceptance to the University of Miami in 2024. She used a picture of the university’s emblem to write “business” in her Instagram story. Her message implied that Evan might attend Miami’s Herbert Business School, but she didn’t provide any other information.

Her wedding to Bezos took place in Venice on June 27 and was attended by all of her children. Undoubtedly, Sanchez was overcome with emotion when her two sons escorted her down the aisle.
In contrast, Jeff Bezos and his ex-wife MacKenzie Scott have four children together. Preston, their oldest son, was born in 2000. Since his children have been kept out of the spotlight, not much is known about them. The couple adopted a daughter from China, and he has two more sons.
