MENDON, Illinois. On Sunday, June 29, the Adams County Fairgrounds will host the yearly Independence Day Weekend Tractor Pull once again. The Illinois Farm Pullers Association is represented among the pullers in this tractor pull. Pulling action starts at 3 p.m., and gates open at 1:30 p.m.
For over 25 years, the fairgrounds have hosted the Independence Day pulls. Daryl Stoll was one of the event’s devoted pullers. He passed away in 2016, thus this year’s event is dedicated to him.
Each ticket costs $10. Children under 12 go in free. There will be food vendors Grahams Lemonade and the Daily Grind present. There will be a beer garden accessible.
