Quincy of Saturday, June 21, Heinze Dance Academy began construction of a brand-new, cutting-edge dance studio complex at 1411 S. 14th in Quincy. The project was constructed by Scott and Cindy Phillips.
The 33rd dance season of Heinze Dance Academy, which is owned and run by Beth Heinze, will begin in the fall. Brenna Phillips and Beth Heinze both teach at the academy.
Classes in pointe, ballet, modern, lyrical, tap, jazz, and hip hop are available at Heinze Dance Academy. The academy’s additional classes, including a Tiny Toes/Mommy and Me class at night, special intensive classes that focus on cheer, musical theater, pom, and contemporary, adult dance lessons, and private dance lessons, will be made possible by the expansion and new facilities.
Heinze received a bachelor’s degree in dance, an associate’s degree in liberal arts, and an associate’s degree in child studies from Stephens College in 1991.
Phillips received a bachelor’s degree in dance from the University of Kansas in 2022. She is the Quincy University Hawkettes’ dancing coach.
