has a response.
Someone made a provocative social media post on platform X recently. In this post, they have imagined that Vice-President
Kamala Harris
won the election as the President of the United States, and
Donald Trump
is jailed.
They have also imagined that “woke” ideology has become the mainstream institutional standard, and US borders are now open for immigrants.
This imaginary alternate universe has sparked an intense debate. This post was clearly meant as political commentary and has now successfully garnered attention across political lines.
Now, if a discussion is alive on X.com, how could billionaire CEO Elon Musk stay away from the controversy? Musk chimed in with a terse but impactful two-word comment: “Good Points.”
Elon was exceptionally brief with his response; however, it did ignite significant public interest. It has left many to interpret his stance on US politics. As usual, both sides of the conversation took it differently and ran with it.

Critics feel that he was supporting the alarmist point of view and is against Kamala Harris being the US President, whereas supporters felt as if Musk is also frustrated with the current governmental stance and political environment.
The comment was simple and had served its purpose. It has reignited interest in Musk that had been dying down closely after his White House exit.
This has also given Musk a political platform to shape his future discourse on. These sorts of engagements give Musk the conversations he needs to grow his potential future role in reshaping political discourse.
Musk was once considered a Trump ally and was rhetorically called the First Buddy. However, there has been a very public fall out between Trump and Musk on X.com. Their disagreement escalated after Musk’s public criticism of Trump’s leadership style and his indirect jabs at Trump’s political rhetoric.
The rift between Musk and Trump deepened when Musk indicated Trump’s name being associated with jeffrey epstein files. Though Musk did not come out right and elaborate, the implication was clear, and it was enough to provoke an aggressive response from Trump.

The implication was enough to provoke an aggressive response from Trump. The President labeled Musk “crazy,” accusing him of engaging in smear tactics and betraying prior goodwill.
Now that ties have been broken, Musk is looking to start his own party. However, the only issue is that he has no mandate or agenda, and all he promises is a country that’s different from what Trump is showing right now or what Harris would have eventually led America to.
Therefore, such controversial ideas are beneficial for Musk as they give him legs to stand on. Unsurprisingly, Trump has dismissed the initiative and has called the idea “ridiculous.” He has also suggested that Musk lacks the political credibility to launch a viable movement.
