Quincy The Jackson-Lincoln Pool, which is situated on the northwest side of Quincy, has received a $1,000 donation from American Legion Post 37. An anonymous philanthropist’s matching contributions were intended to be supplemented by this contribution.
The pool was in danger of not opening for the season because of its financial difficulties. With tremendous community support, the organization appears poised to meet and surpass its $50,000 target.
