Missouri’s Hannibal. A pair from Arkansas is being held at the Marion County Jail on narcotics trafficking charges.
Warrants for Heather A. Coleman, 45, of Yellville, Arkansas, and Kenneth E. Coleman, 48, of Harrison, Arkansas, were issued by the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County. In addition, Heather Coleman was accused of possessing a controlled narcotic.
The allegations are related to a theft report that started in the 400 block of Huck Finn Shopping Center on Thursday, June 19, at around 1:28 p.m. The individual had already fled when Hannibal Police Department officers arrived. The person and car were described to the officers.
Officers found and halted the car a little while later. The license plate was magnetically affixed on the original Arkansas license plate after being stolen from Springfield, Missouri. After being contacted, Heather Coleman was arrested. After being discovered inside a company in the 3600 block of Stardust, Keneth Coleman was taken to the police department.
Detectives requested a search warrant for the car after it was hauled to the police station. When officers searched the car, they found stolen goods, tools for removing security tags, common drug packing materials, a suspected methamphetamine, and 334 suspected fentanyl tablets.
The two Colemans are still being held at the Marion County Jail on $75,000 bail.
