Pastor Nancy Kellstrom will preside over the memorial services for Christia Lynn Provancha, 72, of Perry, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Perry Christian Church. Lick Creek Cemetery will be the last resting place.The church will be open for visits on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.In the company of her loved ones, Christia died in Monroe City Manor on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 12:28 AM.The daughter of Kenneth Eugene and Phala Lou Phelan Crownover, she was born in El Reno, Oklahoma, on September 7, 1952.On November 28, 1980, she married Arlen Provancha in the Center Baptist Church, and he is still alive today.One son, one daughter, one brother, one sister, Randy (Penny) Crownover of Edmond, Oklahoma, one sister, Bonnie McBee of El Reno, Oklahoma, three grandchildren, Caytlyn Provancha, Brianna Provancha, and Dillon Povancha, as well as nieces, nephews, other family members, teammates, students, and a variety of friends, are among the other survivors.Her parents and two brothers-in-law, Wilber McBee and Louis Provancha, passed away before her.Christia, a beloved friend of many and a member of the Perry Christian Church, died surrounded by faith and love.As a physical education teacher in the Ralls County R-II School District, Coach P, also known as Mrs. P, devoted her 32 years to influencing the lives of children. She instilled lessons of teamwork, tenacity, and self-confidence that extended well beyond the gymnasium walls, while also inspiring her students to lead active, healthy lives with patience, encouragement, and a genuine love of teaching. She was also a devoted and enthusiastic Oklahoma Sooner supporter, constantly cheering for her team.Fast-pitch softball was her life’s love. Okie stood on the pitcher’s mound with unparalleled strength and tenacity for more than 40 years. She once threw over 100 miles per hour, demonstrating her extraordinary talent. However, it was her commitment, tenacity, and passion for the game that inspired teammates, rivals, coworkers, and generations of young athletes who came after her. To have known her was to have witnessed a life filled with extraordinary talent, passion, and loyalty. Everyone who was fortunate enough to be a part of her journey will continue to be inspired by her memories.Memorial donations in care of Bienhoff Funeral Home, P.O.
