Basinger joins Girl Scouts of Central Illinois board of directors

Quincy Eric Basinger has been added to the board of directors of the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois (GSCI). Basinger’s term will be two years.

Basinger brings experience to GSCI and its eight properties in central Illinois as a professional land surveyor for Klinger & Associates. The involvement of both his mother and daughter in Girl Scouting sparked Basinger’s enthusiasm for the organization. Quincy is where he resides.

“Not only will Eric be a tremendous asset to our board of directors, helping to promote our mission of empowering girls across our 38-county Council, but he will also be an excellent representation of the voices of our Quincy members,” stated Jennifer Sedbrook, CEO of Girl Scouts of Central Illinois, in a press release.
