Quincy In the following days, a number of Quincy streets will be blocked for various repairs.
The following streets will be closed:
- Adams St. between Sixth and Seventh St. will be closed starting at 7 a.m. Monday, July 7, through 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8. Weather permitting, this road will be closed for water service repair.
- State St. between 15th and 16th St. will be closed starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, through 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9. Weather permitting, this road will be closed for replacement of water service.
- Madison Street between 11th and 12th St. will be closed starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, through 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9. Weather permitting this road will be closed to retire a water service.
- And remember, S. 48th is closed south of State.
It is recommended that drivers drive extremely carefully and take an alternate route.
