MACOMB, Illinois. Take in WIU football in a whole new way. This unique event, which will take place on Friday, September 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., is open to women of all abilities and is intended to introduce you to the world of Leatherneck football. Hanson Field and Western Hall will host the events.
Outside Western Hall, the fun begins with a tailgate and appetizer/BYOB event. Those who attend will receive a unique swag bag filled with tickets to the season’s first home game, which is widely anticipated. Get an inside look at WIU football with a unique behind-the-scenes tour of the facilities, attend a chalk talk with coaching staff to learn more about the game, and then take a picture wearing your favorite football gear. Finish the evening at Hanson Field under the stadium lights, where coaches and players will lead optional football drills, providing a rare chance to feel the excitement of the game up close.
For only $20, a single ticket includes:
- WIU football swag, including two tickets to the first home game on Saturday, Sept. 13, WIU vs Valparaiso
