Photographers captured President Donald Trump dozing off as he and a top member of his staff introduced a new health tracking system at the White House. Mr. President appeared to be bored.
The 79-year-old president’s eyes continued to droop in rather confusing circumstances as he listened to his own Medicare administrator, Dr. Mehmet Oz, talk about the program and commend Trump’s leadership in making it happen.
The former talk show host told Trump, “We’re going to have remarkable advances in how consumers can use their own records,” in front of a conference packed of business executives and internet companies. “And, Mr. President, it all comes down to one fundamental issue, and that is leadership,” Oz said.
The meeting took place the day after Trump’s brief trip to Scotland and featured Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Crypto Czar David Sacks.
The president and his sons, Don Jr. and Eric, have opened a new Trump International Golf Course, signed a new trade deal with the European Union, and visited with U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer in recent days.
Trump has also frequently been asked about Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex trafficker who is currently at the center of an apolitical controversy in Washington. Sleepy Joe Biden has already been reprimanded by the president and his MAGA followers for his incapacity to stay awake.

Earlier last month, the president seemed on the verge of falling asleep at a Pittsburgh meeting on energy and artificial intelligence. He was seen dozing off several times during his hush money trial in New York last year, where he was found guilty of falsifying corporate documents to hide a sex scandal with a porn star.
Trump and his supporters often boast about his good health and how he is not like Biden, who experienced cognitive impairment in his final months in office.

During his recent trip to Scotland, Donald Trump showed his European allies that the US is led by a haughty, remarkably bizarre man who is psychologically deteriorating. He has been venting about the ungratefulness of hungry children for the previous few weeks. He joked, “I’m not focused on conspiracy theories,” when he landed in Scotland on July 25. He then on to discuss the ridiculous conspiracy theories surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein scandal that dominated his government.
Given what Trump is capable of doing that no other president could ever get away with, the trip was mostly a taxpayer-funded chance for the elite men to promote their Scottish golf courses, which scarcely counts as a minor issue.
