QUINCY, IL – On Sunday, August 24, from 2 to 3 p.m., the Quincy Town Center, located across from Down Home Pub in the former Vanity space next to the customer service desk, will host a Ward 3 Town Hall. Community residents are invited by Ward 3 Aldermen Mike Adkins and Kelly Mays to attend.

Ward 3 residents have the chance to meet with their aldermen, ask questions, voice concerns, and exchange ideas for the ward’s and the city’s future at this open forum.

In a press release, Alderman Mays stated, “We want to create an open space where residents feel heard and included in the process.” We have an opportunity to collaborate in order to make our communities better.

“Hopefully, meeting with people will benefit our ward and the community,” Alderman Adkins continued. Our goal is to make our ward the greatest one available. It’s the little things that build up, and it provides transparency by uniting individuals.

Everyone in the community is welcome.

For inquiries regarding the event, get in touch with the alderman or the mayor’s office immediately.
