CNB Bank & Trust renews support as Pike County 4-H Foundation celebrates early successes

Pittsfield, Illinois. From giving out its first scholarship to assisting a 4-H member in attending the 2025 Illinois 4-H Junior Livestock Conference, the Pike County 4-H Foundation has already had an impact on area youngsters in just its first year following re-establishment.

The community has continued to support this early enthusiasm. With a kind donation of $1,000, CNB Bank & Trust recently reaffirmed its support for the charity.

In a press statement, Pike County 4-H Foundation chair Jeff Galle expressed his gratitude to CNB Bank & Trust for their ongoing relationship. Their assistance enables us to give our 4-H participants chances that can change their lives. Our sponsorship of the Junior Livestock Conference and this year’s scholarship are only the first steps.

Jim Sheppard, Mike Vose, Cheri Myers, the secretary/treasurer, Jenna Morrow, and Galle are the members of the foundation.

According to Shelby Crow, the county director for Illinois Extension, the foundation provides a means for the community to directly and significantly help Pike County 4-H. All donations remain in Pike County and support the development of our young people into strong, self-assured leaders.

Through more community engagement programs, program funding, and scholarships, the foundation hopes to increase its influence.
